Slicking your Steers - Get it done!

Your slick sheer steers need to be slicked off at least 40 days prior to your show date. Then you need to slick again 10 days prior to your show date. We have found this helps significantly in overall presentation of the calf. It makes the skin and hair appear smoother and will allow you to properly condition the skin prior to the show.
