Congratulations to Addie Schwartz for winning Grand Champion Steer of the 2009 Washington County Fair! We are very proud of you and your family for this awesome win. You have worked very hard this year, and as always, hard work paid off.
This year's show was very competitive. Addie's Charolais steer won the light weight exotic class and then won Champion Exotic Steer. After she was selected for Champion Overall, the judge went back and used the American for Reserve. It was a shocker, but was a fun one to watch as the crowd went wild. Those are the fairs we love to go and see. Great cattle, great people and great fun.
